Canada’s youth are a critical resource whose well-being is crucial to our survival. Youth represent the future, socially, culturally and economically, embracing fresh ideas and innovative perspectives. Yet adolescence and young adulthood may also present as a vulnerable period for many, calling for appropriate supports, guidance and protections. SRDC works with community partners, education, health and employment services to better design, develop, and implement programs that provide young people with positive relationships, confidence, skills, improved learning and economic outcomes.
