Une importante \u00e9tude canadienne publi\u00e9e aujourd\u2019hui par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de recherche sociale appliqu\u00e9e (SRSA) r\u00e9v\u00e8le des r\u00e9sultats prometteurs \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. Le rapport Projet d\u2019innovation en emploi communautaire \u2013 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des comp\u00e9tences, des r\u00e9seaux et des moyens de subsistance gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019emploi communautaire : les impacts du PIEC sur une p\u00e9riode de trois ans pr\u00e9sente les r\u00e9sultats provisoires du Projet d\u2019innovation en emploi communautaire (PIEC), un programme con\u00e7u pour encourager l\u2019employabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 plus long terme des participants tout en soutenant le d\u00e9veloppement des collectivit\u00e9s dans les r\u00e9gions o\u00f9 le taux de ch\u00f4mage reste \u00e9lev\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Sur la base des donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es 40 mois apr\u00e8s l\u2019inscription des participants, le rapport Projet d\u2019innovation en emploi communautaire \u2013 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des comp\u00e9tences, des r\u00e9seaux et des moyens de subsistance gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019emploi communautaire : les impacts du PIEC sur une p\u00e9riode de trois ans montre que le PIEC a entra\u00een\u00e9 une augmentation substantielle du taux d\u2019emploi \u00e0 temps plein, \u00e0 une hausse des revenus et \u00e0 une r\u00e9duction des prestations d\u2019assurance-emploi et d\u2019aide sociale; tous ces r\u00e9sultats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 maintenus pendant les trois ann\u00e9es d\u2019admissibilit\u00e9 au programme. Les participants ont \u00e9galement rapport\u00e9 une am\u00e9lioration de leur niveau de bien-\u00eatre, une r\u00e9duction de la gravit\u00e9 et de la port\u00e9e de leur situation de pauvret\u00e9 et de leurs difficult\u00e9s, ainsi qu\u2019une plus grande satisfaction \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de la vie en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Parall\u00e8lement, le PIEC a permis d\u2019am\u00e9liorer consid\u00e9rablement le capital social des participants, ce qui pourrait constituer un moyen d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 un emploi futur. Il a \u00e9galement eu des effets importants sur les comp\u00e9tences transf\u00e9rables, permettant ainsi de cr\u00e9er une main-d\u2019\u0153uvre potentiellement plus
