Ce document de travail examine les donn\u00e9es recueillies entre mai 2002 et mars 2003 aupr\u00e8s de pr\u00e8s de 900 participants dans 13 municipalit\u00e9s. L\u2019analyse r\u00e9v\u00e8le que les d\u00e9cisions personnelles relatives \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation sont influenc\u00e9es par une aversion pour les pr\u00eats, pour les pertes mon\u00e9taires et pour les dettes, et l\u2019attitude face \u00e0 l\u2019endettement.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, rien ne prouve que la crainte de l\u2019\u00e9chec y joue un r\u00f4le. Globalement, et de fa\u00e7on non surprenante, les participants ont choisi des bourses et des bourses de contrepartie plut\u00f4t que des pr\u00eats. L\u2019offre d\u2019un soutien financier pour des \u00e9tudes \u00e0 temps partiel a augment\u00e9 le nombre de participants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 25 ans et plus qui ont choisi d\u2019accro\u00eetre leur \u00e9ducation mais n\u2019a en rien chang\u00e9 les choix des participants plus jeunes.
